Our ski programs will continue to be a bit different this season, like many aspects of this past year. Taking care of our community and taking care of our health is our top priority. All of our ski programs will be held in accordance with Mesa County Public Health COVID-19 guidelines. We will not be gathering in any indoor areas and ask people to avoid congregating outside of our formal youth program groups, especially in parking lots, trailheads, etc.
All skiers need to be able to put on and take of their own equipment. They must also be able to get up on their own if they fall down. Children can practice all of these skills while they are at home.
We believe that with a bit of creativity we we will still be able to offer play based learning as a foundation for our programs this winter. We will adjust our protocols if new guidance is issued by the county. Please contact Christina at gvnsc.president@gmail.com if you have questions regarding our COVID-19 protocols.
