Our ski programs will be a bit different this season, like many aspects of this past year. Taking care of our community and taking care of our health is our top priority. All of our ski programs will be held in accordance with Mesa County Public Health COVID-19 guidelines. Currently groups are limited to 10 participants, skiers and coaches must wear masks at all times, skiers and coaches are also required to maintain 6 foot spacing. We will also be using an online health screening questionnaire that needs to be completed before each practice session. If a group member tests positive for COVID-19 all group members and the coach will be required to quarantine, which may reduce the sessions offered for our programs. We will try our best to reschedule missed session.
All skiers need to be able to put on and take of their own equipment. They must also be able to get up on their own if they fall down. Children can practice all of these skills while they are at home.
We believe that with a bit of creativity we we will still be able to offer play based learning as a foundation for our programs this winter. We will adjust our protocols if new guidance is issued by the county. Please contact Christina at email@example.com if you have questions regarding our COVID-19 protocols.
