About Us

The Grand Valley Nordic Ski Club (GVNSC) is a non-popfit organization founded in 2017 to support the development of young Nordic skiers and a love of winter and stewardship of nature. Our goals are for our programs to be accessible and inclusive for all children that would like to participate in them, to teach children skills and habits that support a healthy lifelong lifestyle, and to help strengthen their connection to nature. We offer a scholarship program to ensure that we meet this goal to ensure that all children and families are able to participate in our programs and join our community. The GVNSC offers recreational and competitive Nordic skiing programs which will enable skiers in communities surrounding the Grand Mesa to progress from the learn-to-ski programs into competitive skiing at the local, state, and national levels in accordance with their respective abilities and desires. GVNSC will host fun races and social events with a focus of expanding our Nordic skiing community to include children and families.
